Kybella

Kybella is an FDA-approved injectable that improves the appearance of double chins by destroying fat cells. Kybella is a synthetic form of deoxycholic acid, a naturally occurring enzyme that helps the body absorb fat. Treatment with Kybella is fast, requires little downtime, and destroys fat cells permanently.

Kybella destroys the membranes of the cells that store fat.  Once these cells are destroyed, they can no longer store fat. The body’s natural healing and elimination processes take over, and in about four to six weeks, your fat deposits are dramatically reduced or eliminated.

In clinical trials used by the FDA, even those patients who gained weight after Kybella injectables did not see their fatty areas return.

Most people can receive Kybella injections without any problems let us determine whether you would be a good candidate. Kybella can only be used by adults 18 and over.

You will need at least 2-4 treatments of KYBELLA®, spaced 4-6 weeks apart, for optimum results. Average amount used is 2 vials per treatment. Each vial costs $600. Results are typically seen within 60 to 90 days.

Bruising and swelling is common. Give yourself a minimum of 2 weeks before any events/vacations.

After your Kybella  treatment, you will likely have some swelling, bruising, or numbness under your chin.
